The automotive system has requirements for the sensitivity and noise resistance of the microphone head. The different types of microphone heads and their adaptation systems are as follows:
1. Single Directional Microphone
It receives sound from a single direction and is generally used in systems such as car phones and voice assistants. It has a design with front and rear sound holes, with the highest sensitivity in the 0° direction, which can suppress noise from other directions inside the car.
2. Noise Cancelling Microphone Head
The sensitivity is highest in the 0° and 180° directions, making it suitable for places where noise needs to be eliminated, such as car communication systems. Although its sensitivity is 10-12dB lower than that of a full directional microphone, it can hear speech more clearly.
